Obiettivi formativi:

IL CORSO DI INGLESE ha come obiettivo il miglioramento delle abilità linguistiche degli studenti.

In particolare, il focus sarà incentrato sulle strutture grammaticali, le funzioni e il lessico della lingua inglese in linea con il livello target del corso, ossia il B1 del Common European Framework of Reference.
Gli studenti svilupperanno le abilità di comprensione relative a testi semplici (di norma testi scritti, ma sono inclusi anche i testi audiovisivi) e di diversi altri tipi riguardanti tematiche familiari, della routine della vita in generale e in particolare la comprensione di testi e argomenti specialistici di economia e business.

METODI DIDATTICI

Le attività avranno una natura interattiva per favorire le abilità del parlato e della listening durante le lezioni che si svolgeranno in lingua inglese. Gli studenti lavoreranno svolgendo esercizi pratici mirati allo sviluppo delle 4 abilità: comprehension, speaking, readings, and listening.

Il syllabus resta invariato per studenti frequentanti e non frequentanti.

La frequenza ai corsi viene comunque raccomandata.
Gli studenti non frequentanti vengono invitati a consultare i materiali del corso su fad.unich e nel caso contattare il docente con largo anticipo per potenziali chiarimenti prima dell'esame.

GENERAL ENGLISH

Grammatical and syntactic structures, lexical elements, communicative functions, with particular reference to topics related to the area of business and economics.

Learning outcomes: B1 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference.

CONTENT

The course focuses on the acquisition of the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - at the level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. The language structures of Business English will also be analysed.

The course will last 48 hours. Interactive activities are implemented during the lessons. Students will be engaged in exercises, readings, listening, and watching videos.

EXAM

To achieve the proficiency, students need to pass an oral test assessing their competence in the four language skills and in Business English. The students’ knowledge of the course contents, their critical thinking skills, and their ability to communicate in English will be assessed. Students will be graded as follows: 1-17 Fail, 18- 21 satisfactory, 22-24 fairly good, 25-27 good, 28-29 very good, 30-30 cum laude excellent.
